AUSTIN, Texas -- Big Communications Event -- In the heat and humidity of the early Texan summer, BCE delivered two solid days of keynotes and panels focused on New IP topics, including virtualization, open source, data center, cloud, IoT and more.
From the opening keynotes to the in-depth panels, BCE not only focused on the change happening in the industry, but delved into the details of how service providers and suppliers are changing everything from operational models to integrating open source to company culture and even how they are working to recruit and retain women in the industry (thanks to our largest Women in Comms event ever on Monday afternoon).
Take a look at our New IP slideshow to see how we captured the event for you and be sure to check out our additional event coverage here and on Light Reading. Click on the image below to launch the slideshow.
Stroll down Congress Avenue in downtown Austin and you'll be greeted by ten-foot painted guitars that are part of a project called Austin GuitarTown. They are painted by some of the city's most talented artists. You'll find them all over the city, including in the baggage claim at the airport.
