Membership in the NIA delivers significant benefits not available to non-members, including many that hold a significant dollar value.

Subsidized Virtualization Testing
NIA members receive preferred testing rater with our lab partner. In the case of larger companies, these subsidies can easily exceed the price of an annual membership.

Complimentary Promotion of Test Results
NIA members’ evaluation results are promoted using the entire network of NIA’s media sponsor, Light Reading. No other organization or testing lab alone can validate and then promote vendors like the NIA.

The Opportunity to Help Define the NIA Test Program
Being part of the NIA allows members to help shape the interoperability evaluations hosted by the NIA. The NIA’s Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) is comprised of volunteers from the NIA’s vendor and service provider membership who are committed to developing test cases that progress the industry towards advanced virtualized networks.

Increased Visibility
All NIA members receive enhanced listing in the Virtuapedia, an online source for the people, companies, standards groups, ecosystems, products and services that are building the new virtualized communications economy, and free promotional elements within the NIA’s editorial coverage of NIA members. These promotional components have an annual value in excess of $25,000!

Participation in the NIA’s Live NFV Interoperability Demo
Membership entitles all companies to participate in the NIA’s annual Live NFV Interoperability Demo at no charge. The demonstration, hosted at Light Reading’s Big Communications Event (BCE), highlights more advanced multi-vendor combinations pertinent to CSPs’ most immediate virtualization needs.

Benefits of Being Associated With a Historic Mission
The benefits to your company’s reputation in our industry is obvious. Participating in the NIA positions your company as a proponent of the open standards process, a leading protagonist in the mission to enable a global digital economy; and a proactive problem solver, helping to prevent interoperability problems for service provider and enterprise customers before they hit their networks.
