Re: Let's be friends
Here is one danger about this:   When you spread yourself too thin, you're bound to have profound challenges--look at the giants of yesteryear (HP et. al) and how they have been humbled into spin-off after spin-off.

I'd like to see Amazon create a wireless network of drones... once it has its drone programs fully operational and delivering packages everywhere. Amazon should not be trifled with.

Re: Let's be friends
Amazon, to me, is the epitome of what Andy Grove of Intel talked about:  Only the paranoid survive.    They are a bellwether--for sure.  The question is whether they grow to be too big for their own good.

Fascinating times indeed.

Although a working one for me--thanks for the sentiments sir.

It will be interesting to see what the view will be.   I can't help but wonder what Amazon will do in this space--they seem to want to do everything else!!

On a side note, it is Memorial W-End here in the United States--Wishing all a restful Weekend as it is also the official start of the summer season. :)

Re: Let's be friends
It should make good reading as AT&T's fight with the city moves along. And watching whether other cities get into implementing their own new ordinances that will let other third parties enter the municipalities lines without notice to existing franchises. And I wonder too if Google has at this point made any comments about the dispute?

Re: Let's be friends
Welcome to the 2nd Quarter @batye and our ever growing community.

It is a pleasure to be of service to do my small part to make a difference.

I was also reflecting upon this today as I saw a story in our sister community on how Google is now introducing Phone Service--I could not help but wonder about this notion, "...how much is enough"?   Are these guys becoming too big for their own good?  Will creativity be stifled because they'are as powerful as they are?
