On the subject of voice, and Google getting into the voice activation game, as I wrote about here, Amazon Echo now has competition in the form of Google Home.

@Batye definitely, it's false economy to skimp on security in the design stage.

Re: Multifactor authentication is going to be the future...
@Ariella yes, but this days many Co. care about bottom line and try to save as much as possible trying to spend less on security... but at the end paying twice - how I see it...

Re: Multifactor authentication is going to be the future...
@batye yes, that's the problem. They think of it as something to add on when they're done when they should be planning on it as an integral part of any product or service.

@batye it's definitely something that should be addressed earier rather than later -- after a breach.

@Ariella from my point of view as security and human nature it a bit scary... it like do it now and think later...

@mhhf1ve That's very devious and quite clever. I bet you're right about putting in some fake accounts sharing information to lead othes to follow suit. It fit in perfectly with FB behavior that encourages a follow the herd mentality for sharing.

I've actually seen entire Facebook groups where the members are *discussing* and sharing all the answers to some common security questions. Someone (I assume a scammer) sets up a FB group about a small town/city and gets people to join to reminisce about the good old days.. AND THEN.. the organizer posts some things like "Hey, everyone.. what was the name of the street you grew up on?" "Who has pets here? My first dog, RIP, was Fluffy... What was your first pet's name?"
It was amazing how many people replied with answers... Tho, I gotta wonder how many were fake accounts trying to get real people to answer with engineered peer pressure....
