Re: technology changing...
Yes I'd be very interested to read more on how Brexit impacts European and UK business plans for 5G, not to mention the upcoming net neutrality and roaming agreements that were just passed earlier this year (though I know the neutrality protections aren't finalized yet).

I have been working away @DailyOutsider today--the bloodbath is continuing as Richard Branson just came out noting that his firm has lost a 3rd of its' value and I'm seeing reports of tech businesses wanting to relocate.  It will be interesting to see what the folks at the conf. have to say.

Re: technology changing...
Yes, mpouraryan, times of changes, faster than ever. The financial sector is already packing, so to speak. Everything is changing by the minute. Maybe it's good to wait for a while and see how everything develops. I'll be at the 5G World in London this week. I'll ask network service providers how they see the future and their plans after Brexit. -Susan

Re: technology changing...
I have been working away over the past 2 hours as results have been coming @DailyOutsider  and could not help  wonder what will Bruce Johnson and Nigel Farage & Rupert Murdoch would say when the investments stop, Britain falls into a recession, Scotland Votes to secede (and Nicola Sturgeon will more likely than not do it) and Wales & Northern Island go their separate ways--and the City of London ceases to be the center that it is.....and the implications for Europe will also be profound as Nigel Farage's counterpart in the Netherlands is calling for it--Jeremy Corbyn is already calling for Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty to be triggered immediately--and the implications for tech and telecom (a focus of deliberations here as the New IP finalizes its' evolution) will be profound.....and as I am finishing these thoughts, London, Paris and Frankfurt markets have opened sharply lower.....

Truly unchartered waters--we have woken up to a different World....

mpouraryan, indeed. Very sad. As for the news, the false promises that captured vote of the older generations saw the light early this morning. A Fragmented Kingdom remains. -Susan

I continue to have faith in the common sense and good judgement of the American People as well as the British People--as we need to remember this as well as we are witness to the evolution of Technology itself we've deliberated here in the New IP and other Light Reading communities and as the New IP transitions onward.
