Excellent Clip: Telecom vendors beware
I can fuly resonate with the AT&T messaging: to have a "neutral" hardware infrastructure, a layer that normalizes the virtualization solution used (bare metal VMWARE, KVM+OS. containers of any sort, Dockers or otherwise) and a software/VNF infrastructure on top , oblivious of the HW fabric and virtualization technology used.

Hats down to AT&T and the technoogy communtity at large that can execute on that,

I Know that theere are a number of worldwide telecommunicaion providers that each carry a pretty big stick. If they can agree on how this be done, we'll have our way fprward in this industry. Otherwise we will be muttle along using fragme nted visions of what virtualization and software defined networking are supposed to be.
