Genband Channels Star Wars at Perspectives16

During Gendband's Perspectives16 gathering of service providers and partners, executives from XO Communications, Verizon and Vodafone, among others, took center stage to discuss SDN, NFV and cloud. Getting in on the May the 4th fun, Genband and others at the event compared the New IP transformation underway to a battle akin to the classic conflicts portrayed across countless Star Wars films -- and even compared traditional service providers to the Rebel Alliance fighting the "evil OTT empire." Despite leaving her light saber at home, the New IP's Alison Diana was on hand to cover the event.
